When a price beats the real probability, the maths works for you over many bets – no system, no insider tips.
Value bet
Odds above the fair probability. Fair 2.20 (45.5%), offered 2.40: you get paid more than the risk is worth.
Expected value (EV)
EV = fair probability × odds − 1. Positive EV means: averaged over many bets, every euro staked returns more than a euro. Any single bet still wins or loses.
Closing line value (CLV)
Did you get a better price than the final odds before kick-off? Beating the closing line regularly is the clearest sign your edge is real – long before your profit and loss can tell you.
Many bets, strict staking
The edge per bet is small and only shows over hundreds of bets. OddsNineR calculates your stake automatically: quarter-Kelly, capped at 2% of your bankroll. Small stakes keep you in the game through losing streaks.

Odds of 2.50 mean the bookmaker rates the chance at 40%. If the real chance is 45%, the odds are too high – that's a value bet. OddsNineR finds these for you and sends them to Telegram, so you don't have to calculate anything. Important: a value bet can lose. The edge only shows over hundreds of bets, so start with small, fixed stakes and a budget you can afford to lose.
